The miners in Brapelille aren't related to Goons. Mining is one of the worst gameplay mechanics ever conceived, and goonwaffe doesn't do it. Any goon that brings it up is mercilessly mocked. Besides, many of our gankers are using out-of-corp alts, so they can't even see if a given miner is blue to us or not, and they certainly wouldn't bother to consult a list of forbidden targets or whatever you imagine we're using. Goons are a blunt weapon.
If we needed to mine, for example if some jerk reduced the supply of cheap highsec oxytopes and we got desperate, we certainly wouldn't go to Brapelille to do it. We own a couple belts of Thick Blue Ice in Cloud Ring, and our allies (some of who do mine) own even more. Please feel free to stop by in a covops or interdiction nullified T3 and report any mining bots you find. Gank them if you like, we won't lift a finger to defend them, we'll just laugh at them.

Seriously. Mining is not fun, so we don't do it. We import maelstrom hulls from Jita by the freighter-load, because there aren't enough suckers in goonspace willing to mine or build them. No one in 0.0 is going to waste time mining Veldspar, so there is a severe chronic shortage of trit for industrialists. Our industrialists either import compressed minerals, or simply import finished goods. If you can spike the price of trit in Jita please do, that would be hilarious. |
